Batumi Summer Beach is a summer event by the Black Sea, bringing together participants from different countries for a week of relaxation, exploration, and social connection. The programme combines beach days, cultural visits, boat trips, local gastronomy, music, and evening social events in a vibrant international atmosphere.
This is not a festival. It is not a tour. It’s a shared summer you’ll talk about long after it’s over.
What to expect? • Beach days along the Black Sea coast • Boat trip on the Black Sea • Local excursions and cultural visits • Visit to Gonio (Apsaros) Fortress • Local food, wine, and music experiences • Organized parties and social nights • 5 nights of accommodation near the beach (shared rooms)
Batumi Summer Beach is a pause from routine – a place where days blur into each other under wide skies and the Black Sea sets the pace. The city breathes summer: palm-lined streets, the sound of waves never far away, and evenings that seem to unfold naturally into night. Time here feels unmeasured, shaped more by light, heat, and conversation than by plans.
Batumi sits at the heart of Adjara, a region where sea and mountains exist side by side. Subtropical air, deep green landscapes, and layers of history give the area a distinct character – part coastal, part mountainous, always alive. Adjara’s identity is felt in its food, its music, its pace of life, and the way nature frames the city from every direction. It’s a place that invites slowing down, looking around, and letting the atmosphere do the work – leaving behind memories that feel less like a schedule and more like a season.Accommodation
Participants will stay at Hotel Nona in Gonio, a peaceful seaside area south of Batumi, located close to the beach and the Turkish border. The hotel is within walking distance from the sea and provides a relaxed environment while still allowing easy access to Batumi city. Check-in for participants is from 12:00 on 3 August 2026.
Arrival to Georgia
Recommended airport: Kutaisi International Airport (KUT). We generally recommend arriving via Kutaisi International Airport, which has direct low-cost connections with many European cities. Kutaisi Airport is well connected to Batumi through direct airport buses operating throughout the day and night.
Alternative option: Batumi International Airport (BUS). Participants may also arrive directly to Batumi Airport. The airport is mainly connected through Istanbul flights operated by Turkish Airlines and Pegasus Airlines, as well as a limited number of seasonal international routes.
Entry to Georgia
For EU citizens: Georgia has a visa-free regime for citizens of European Union member states. EU citizens may generally enter Georgia without a visa and stay for up to one year.
EU citizens can usually enter Georgia with either a valid passport or a national ID card. However, we recommend travelling with a passport whenever possible, especially if your journey includes connecting flights outside the EU.
Participants from non-EU countries are kindly asked to check the official entry requirements applicable to their nationality before booking their trip.

Airport transfer information
From Kutaisi Airport to Batumi: Two companies operate direct airport buses between Kutaisi Airport and Batumi:
- Georgianbus: usually operates buses after arriving flights and tickets can be purchased directly at the airport arrival hall (cash and card are accepted)
- Metro Georgia: operates scheduled departures and tickets can be purchased online in advance.
Price: approximately 25–30 GEL (around 8–9 EUR). The buses depart directly in front of the airport terminal. Kutaisi Airport is relatively small and easy to navigate.
After booking your flights, feel free to share your travel details with us so we can advise you on the most convenient transfer options.
Arrival to the hotel
Airport buses arrive at Batumi Central Bus Station. From there, we recommend taking a taxi to Hotel Nona in Gonio.
Recommended taxi apps:
- Maxim Taxi (the app works well with European SIM cards)
- Yandex Go (the app may require local or non-EU number verification in some cases)
Approximate taxi price: 18–20 GEL. Please note that taxi drivers waiting directly at Kutaisi Airport may offer significantly higher prices (around 230–300 GEL per car depending on negotiation and number of passengers).
